Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.

This is a budget option for Vienna, but not bad for the price. Clean and tidy, just a bit small. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Good location as well close to so much Vienna has to offer, so great place to stay on the cheap if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower.

The hotel was alright for the price—clean rooms and conveniently located not far from the metro with a supermarket nearby. Great for a budget-friendly stay in the city

Jakob is an honest, caring and friendly, and very attentive and responsive host. Big advantage: a safe and convenient parking space in the courtyard; it can be booked for a modest fee. Equipped kitchen. A washing machine, although we didn't use it. Bunk beds for children, although we didn't have any with us.

A capsule hotel, the cabins were clean and well maintained. Air-conditioned and with a TV and a safe. towel was provided along with a locker. Clear and helpful instructions were provided via email on how to enter, set up the capsule etc. The bathroom was clean and the shower was decent. Location was pretty good. Could walk to the city centre in about half an hour. I believe there was also convenient public transport but did not require it other than to and from the airport which was an easy journey.

In terms of price benefit balance it's an ideal choice. It's conveniently just 5 tram stops away (tram number 2), making it a solid choice if you're looking for accessibility. Breakfast is standard but satisfying. Kudos to the staff, though. They're a friendly and helpful bunch, adding a positive touch to the stay. In a nutshell, I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay. It's got its perks, but addressing those mattresses and going a bit greener on the toiletries would make it an even better choice.

From the friendly, helpful staff, to the fun vibe in the rooms, and from the adjoining bar to the laundry facilities we found this place to be extremely comfortable and convenient! Easy (and cheap) to access the airport, main station and city using public transport. If I get the chance, I'll be back!

Liked the corridor coffee facility, vending machines, iron. Makes a lot more sense than in- room sachets/ cups/ kettles etc. Good bed, blackout curtains and temp control. V convenient location for restaurants, spar shop and access to transport. Pedestrian friendly and not too trafficky despite beung near main road

The hotel which has a fresh, modernistic design is right next to the Westbahnhof station, on the 5th and 6th floor of the IKEA building (where one can get great meals at reasonable prices). The rooms are simple but comfortable and the feeling one gets in the bunkbed rooms is reminiscent of Japanese capsule hotels. A plus for the wide beds! The staff is very accomodating and make guests feel welcome. Another plus for the breakfast buffet - rich and varied.
