Located in Thabazimbi, 14 km from Ben Alberts Nature Reserve, Thaba eNtle Private Boutique Game Farm offers accommodation with a hot tub. It is a really unique place. Totally out in the bush so that you can really enjoy the peace and nature. We stayed in the Shack which was a wonderful experience. A cottage on stilts with a beautiful view and with no neighbors in sight - totally peaceful. What was really spectacular was the Mountain View: you can reserve a swimming pool on the top of a hill with a magnificent view - and enjoy a BBQ there. It is a very nice place to go jogging and walking. I found it particularly enjoyable jogging in the bush amidst giraffes and ostriches. I was also assured by our hosts that it is completely safe to walk and jog around the farm. The hosts are also very friendly and helpful. All in all an absolute pleasure and we really hope to go again. Unusually, the place is a lot better than advertised on their homepage and other marketing materials. As I told our hosts, they don’t do themselves much justice with their current marketing activities.

Lovely environment and there was a viewing deck overlooking Kruger national Park. Stars were stunning at night time. Cabin we stayed in was clean, food was delicious and staff were super helpful. Had a group of girls that were volunteering to help with some renovations while we were there so there was a bonfire at night, music and good company. Great vibes. Was also wonderful to see how they were helping the community through their NPO.

NANDONI LEISURE PARK in Vendaland provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar. The property has river and garden views, and is 25 km from Mphaphuli Nature Reserve. It's a great location, just downstream of Nandoni Dam. The staff was very friendly, on of the rooms the aircon was not working but they came to check us and provided us with the fan. They even assisted us with the bowls on the morning for our breakfast as they dont keep them in the room.

Set 8.9 km from Mapungubwe National Park, Kaoxa Bush Camp offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We loved Koaxa - especially as there was no one else staying! It was very rustic but comfortable.
