The owner of the campsite was very friendly and accommodating. When he heard that the paddle was broken by the boat, he immediately brought a new one and we did not have to pay for it. Just a great campsite!

The location was magnificens, The staff was very helpful and friendly and the camping area and the service bildnings (WC/showers, Kitchen, sauna) was very clean. the bonus with this camping is the location and i recommend it to you.

Traditional Swedish dishes are served for lunch and dinner at Karlstad Swecamp’s restaurant from May through August. Meals can be enjoyed on the terrace in nice weather. Barbecue facilities are also available on site. The place where we stayed was lovely and the rooms were nice and warm in the freezing 🥶 cold weather, clean and had everything we needed.

There’s 2 washing machines and dryer for campers to do their laundry for free that you need to reserve on the paper form, which is very convenient. You just need to bring your own washing powder. The lake is just around the corner and a delight to swim in.
