Miguel and Silvia gave us all the support, love and friendliness we could imagine. We got recommendations where to go, which places to visit, and breakfast and dinner were provided when we requested.

Boasting sea views, Casa Tuia Resort features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar, around 2.3 km from Carvoeiro Beach. We stayed in tent number five. And had a large deck Good morning sun. The facilities there are very complete. they have a beautiful pool with lots of lounging, and honesty bar, outdoor grills, a soccer field small climbing area and swing set for kids. there were mostly families here when we visited. it is a short drive up from the town where there are plenty of restaurants. The hiking nearby along the cliffs is fantastic. this was the 7th hotel / guest house we have stayed in on our visit through Portugal and the kitchen was the best appointed of them all. they provided a bottle of wine and water upon our arrival. there is even a very unusual heavy storm while we were there and we were perfectly dry and comfortable in our tent. Love the glamping.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Salema Eco Camp - Sustainable Camping & Glamping is a recently renovated campground situated in Salema, 1.8 km from Salema Beach. Great staff - seriously - the friendliest people all around. Tipi was comfortable and great way to feel like camping without having to bring gear. Restaurant had great food at a fair price and the live music on the Saturday night was beyond wonderful. I was sad to leave. I like the vibe and the concept and had a mature alternative crowd as well as travellers of all kinds.

Set within 1.6 km of Praia de Santo António and 31 km of Island of Tavira, 818 Centro Náutico Bungalows provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vila Real de Santo António. This was an amazing short stop (maybe too short), but we loved every minute. The location is just glorious, tranquil with amazing sun rise and sunsets to the other side. The pool area a total gem. All the gardens are natural, well manicured - in keeping with nature and the environment around it. Regarding dining, we had planned to go and discover the local town, but found it difficult to leave so we stayed in the beautiful restaurant, and watched the boats coming in and out. we had the prawns in chilli, lime and ginger to as a starter and Fish stew which were both to die for. Breakfast was great too. All in all this discrete development is immaculately maintained and a true find - OH and last but not least, uber friendly and helpful staff. We will be back for sure.

Located within 2.3 km of Tonel Beach and 2.5 km of Martinhal Beach in Sagres, Parque de Campismo Orbitur Sagres features accommodation with seating area. The camping spot was very nice and calm. The accommodation was incredibly clean and the public shower/bathrooms as well! There could have been more utensils in the kitchen. It was quite humid inside the house, but everything was clean and looked quite new!
