The hotel is right on the beach. And several more large empty beaches within a 30 minute walk. In the morning I swam in the sea instead of washing my face, and when I came out of the water, my simple breakfast was served a few minutes later right here on the beach, in the shade of the trees! The short path going down to the bungalows is serpenting through the forest and offering very nice points of view, keeping you isolated from the road. Perfect to cut yourself off the civilisation for a couple of lazy days and for a very fair price !

Located in Puerto Princesa City, just 7.8 km from Honda Bay, Bamboo Nest Beachfront Floating Tent provides beachfront accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. One of the most amazing places I’ve stayed in over 3 years of travelling. Couldn’t ask for a better first day in Philippines. Super close to the airport, and the place was full of kittens and puppies 😍 they even gave us coconuts and there was live music on Friday. Amazing value for the price. Beautiful & unique experience to sleep on the water. Surprisingly there were no mosquitoes.
