- The hotel was very nice. We stayed in a King's Suite with Ocean View and the view was definitely worth it! The room size also pleasantly surprised and the room generally had everything you need. Also very clean. - Enrique was a very helpful and friendly receptionist that contributed to the general pleasant impression of the hotel. - The food as well as the restaurant staff were nice.

There was a great atmosphere, and the owner is very interesting and helped us alot. The place has it's own little beach and great facilities - pool, games, shared kitchen etc. They also have handy and helpful scooter rental options that make the transport easier.

Quiet and beautiful scenery! Lot of fun activities and you will easy get to know other travelers. Close to the beach and a nice pool area. NB!! Remember to buy some snacks, food and water on the main island, before you take the boat. The supermarket on the island is the most expensive I’ve ever seen!!

Super friendly staff, some are very helpful and some are a bit to relaxed for European standards. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The hostel is on the island Bastimentos, just 5 min. walk to the beautiful beach "red frog". They offer several tours everyday, which I can highly recommend. Especially the snorkeling at 3 different spots incl. the Mangroves where stunning and the Night Walk with Tomer very interesting. I can highly recommene this hostel if you look for a relaxing time (and not a party).

Located right at the beach front, and has a true island feeling to it. Very calm, with only a group of day visitors to Red Frog coming every day. Loved that the beach beds came included :) We sleeped in the tents and had a true glamping-like experience. Restaurant has tasty and reasonable priced food as well.

Very clean and good room. Location just outside city but for 1 dollar taxi or bus you are in the city. You can also rent a bicycle and go to bluff beach or the city.. The cleaning is great and very nice owner and cleaning ladies

This hotel is very clean with a great location in Bocas Town. We could walk easily to all restauants and pier for water taxis. It is a fairly large unit with a kitchenette. We had a view out to the road and although we initially wanted a beach side balcony, this turned out to be much quieter as most of the bars face the water. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect! Sharon & Marc are great hosts and help you out with everything. The rooms and property are very clean and we just loved the pool! Its only 1$ to take a taxi to town and they are always passing by so you dont have to wait long. Dama makes a delicious & different breakfast everyday. If you lucky you can see Monkeys in the garden :) We loved everything about it and can warmly recommend to stay at the Sand Dollar beach Resort! We will be Back, Theresa & Tobi

Everything: location is amazing (away from the noise of the city, with direct view of the sea and close to Bluff beach), property is very clean and decorated with very good taste, and the managers (Nadia and Salvatore) are delightful and very helpful
