We arrived late due to a problem we had and they waited for us to check in, the location was wonderful. We rested and had a wonderful time staying there. The staff was always very concerned about making us feel comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable and the separate bathroom was more than adequate. The outside decking was spacious and a great place to sit back and relax and if you're lucky (as we were) spot kiwi in the garden below. The centre of Russell is about a 15/20 minute walk away though we were lazy and took the car as the trailer is situated at the top of a steep hill. We spent five weeks in NZ and Stella was definitely in the Top 3 of the places we stayed.
