After a nice hot soak in the tub, we opened the windows in the reading nook so we could take in the night sky and mellowed out to Johnny Cash CDs. In the morning, we got to feed the alpacas and Nat made some awesome pancakes for our trip back. All in all it was a really relaxing stay and would definitely go back.

Great owner,great facilities.very clean,warm
The cottage was bright and the environment was nice and quiet. Near the beach.
Great location close to beach access, local bar and Cafe, great pizza shop. Very clean. Everything in the house was in good working order despite being an older house. It was like 'house sitting" for a friend - firewood chopped, fresh linen and plenty of kitchen supplies. Made our stay easy.
Fabulous location. Great host. Lovely decking and pretty garden with its own mini hobbit door. Well appointed suite with freedom to enjoy the garden and sit on the deck enjoying a glass of wine. Good very local convenience store within a few minutes' walk, next to Farewell Spit tours. Beach very close. Would recommend.
Relaxing, Modern with a glamping twist. Beautiful views of the ocean from your front porch. The little details the host have put into this place puts an amazing touch. The breakfast provided was a delight with fresh eggs and bread. Lovely bath salts provided for that nice evening bath to capture the sunset. And the buggy’s were such fun to be able to take them to the beach. Honestly this place is just paradise.
Charming family-run business, ideal for families with children, as there is a trampoline, basketball hoop, and climbing area. The family cottage has excellent cooking facilities and there is a gas barbecue available in the beautiful garden. The studio inside the main house was spacious and comfy. The owners will provide a district map and local advice. The beach is nearby
The location was perfect, halfway almost, between Takaka & Collingwood. The house was spotless, well appointed, private with deck overlooking the sea & beach. Lovely greeting when checking in. Despite being rural there is a lovely gift shop & bakery on the road to the camping ground.
Our stay was made so relaxing by the nature of the cabins and amenities, and the most easy going and friendly host you could hope to meet. It's a bit like camping but with walls and a bit more comfort and convenience, which just makes it so easy to enjoy. The wood fired pizza oven is also a sure fire hit for socialising should you want to. The setting is idyllic perfection with so many native birds including kea, tui and piwakawaka. Only 10 minutes from arguably the best beach in the South Island.
