Located in Nagarote in the Leon Region region, Camping Ojo de Agua has a garden. It is set 1 km from El Transito Beach and offers a shared kitchen. The campground features family rooms. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, quiet and peaceful community feeling. Intact mosquito nets for each guest were a big plus. Great stay overall!

Boasting a garden and a terrace, Palapa Hostel features accommodation in El Tránsito with free WiFi and sea views. It is situated 500 metres from El Transito Beach and offers a shared kitchen. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It’s a 5 min walk from the beach which is nice to experience a bit of the little town. If you’re lucky you can see a baseball game on Sunday. An amazing pupusa place a block away. Equipped kitchen, drinking water, good wifi, and fans for when the heat gets really bad. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it a lot. It’s more rustic, so you should be okay with composting toilets, climbing ladders, and mosquito nets.
