We unfortunately didn’t stay here for pleasure, it was a stopping point on a move. We like the location for ease of travel but also for the security. It was comfortable and we got to see the howler monkeys playing in the trees.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Conhuas, Campamento Yaax Che en Calakmul is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. This place is a gem! I've been twice...once to visit the ruins and again just now because I love it so much. It's a campground in the middle of dense jungle...with walking trails. There are monkeys all around and many birds. The family that runs it has been there in the jungle all their lives. I will return!
