Really nice staff that keeps the hostel very clean. Very convenient to rent good scooter from them. Simple but nice breakfast!

Kind owner couldn't do enough for us. Genuinely cold water in the filter which is free. Worth noting this is a little guesthouse off the beaten track, as with everything on the island. High ratings are not for luxury, but for luxury in backpacking terms. If you're a backpacker, this is a very clean, very nice stay

We had a perfect stay here - the location is great on the sunset side of the island and Darren is always on hand for help and great chats. He couldn’t have done more for us and even took our bags to the boat for our onward travel. He has great restaurant recommendations and clearly puts a lot of effort into making his guests feel at home. The rooms are very clean, great a/c and a stocked mini bar that you pay for at the end! The area is great for chilling out and you can hire bikes next door.

Everything was perfect. The woman was so lovely, she helped us with everything! And the hostel was very clean.

We arrived after the check in time and they still allowed us to check in which was very nice of them. Beds were comfy and the whole hostel was very clean. Free Breakfast was very good too, coffee, toast and fried eggs. We also rented our bikes through the hostel to go to waterfall which was very handy. Pick up and drop off at hostel.

A hostel with more natural space than the average. Backpacker’s hostel has multiple options for accommodation such as private rooms, family rooms and soon to have camping tents. This hostel is a nice mix between camping yet with access to restrooms, restaurants, bar and assistance for trekking or transportation services. A very relaxed and friendly environment ran by a lovely family who takes care of their community as well as their guests. Definitely recommend.

Such a nice hostel, very clean. And the breakfast, amazing, the bread is delicious! I very much recommend!!

The owner Tina is unbelievably sweet and so helpful. She invited me to her friends birthday and the last day she invited me for the barbecue as well. Moreover, when I told her I needed mosquito spray, she went to the city to look for it. Never met a host like this, amazing! Room is very clean and the bed is comfy. Would definitely recommend!
