Situated within a few steps of Agonda Beach and 35 km of Margao Railway Station in Agonda, Nana's Nook offers accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. We had originally intended to stay at Nana's Nook for just seven nights and ended up staying for almost four weeks because we ended up loving our stay so much! That was due to the amazing location right at the beach, the privacy the bungalows offered and the overall relaxing vibe. We can also not stress enough that the host Nitin is such a nice and hospitable person! He made us feel welcome from the start and helped us immensely when I got sick during our stay and had to go to the hospital. He made sure I was able to store the medicine I got in his private fridge and even gave me medicine of his own when I didn't have any yet and didn't even expect me to give him the money back. He also invited us over to his village to see a festival that was going on at the time which was also so considerate. Communicating with him was also super easy (via WhatsApp). The accommodation is simple but really comfortable and totally worth the price (not even mentioning that you'll fall asleep and wake to the sound of the ocean every day). There are also many amazing restaurants within walking distance (10-15 minutes) where we got delicious and fresh foods every day!

Situated just 46 km from Church of Saint Cajetan, Nature's Nest Eco Resort Goa, Near Dudhsagar Waterfalls provides accommodation in Molem with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as... Well worth the trip all the way from South Africa. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, eager to assist, excellent English. Room was simple, but extremely comfortable, with mod cons including quality aircon and fan, lots of plug points, clean, hot water, mosquito net. I'm a foodie -- food was exceptional, local Goan delights -- buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Barbecue on one evening was also good (I'm going to try pineapple on the braai at home). I would return just for the food (handsdown beats the food at the 5* Radisson Blu Cavelossim Beach hotel where I stayed the following nights). Activities were also fun; superb morning birding (including 3 species of hornbill), rain forest waterfall hike was fun, great sightings on the night "safari" (including Goan buffalo, palm civet, porcupines, flying squirrel, hares, nightjars), and night herping also fun and fascinating to see the little things (crabs, scorpions, bioluminescent fungi) -- would recommend, unless squeamish about snakes/spiders! Suggestions: My package just included room, breakfasts, morning birding walks, and afternoon plantation tour. I would recommend package with all activities and meals included. All excellent value for money. Highly highly recommend for birders, naturalists, foodies, or just people who want a quiet escape.

Situated within a few steps of Palolem Beach and 700 metres of Colomb Beach, Big Fish features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Canacona. The staff was excellent. Room was clean. And the food was exceptional. Loved it. Will go back again.
