An amazing experience spanning 2 day days and one night under the stars in the great Thar desert. The camel ride was great fun and a good length of time. The food was a buffet and thus very filling. The entertainment which involved a traditional Rajasthani band and dancers was superb. Breakfast with a sunrise was great the following day as well!

Roof where you and fellow travellers hang on comfy beds during midday sun and across the cool nights. Clean rooms with fan and AC. Close to hotels with rooftop restaurants. 10 minute walk to the fort. Spectacular view of fort. Price was outstanding

Great time - everything and everyone was good and it was a most pleasurable experience - food was great and I slept well in the comfortable bed - the camel trip In to the sand dunes was a great experience - highly recommended for all to visit - a quiet place and suitable for viewing the stars

Situated in Udaipur and only 20 km from Udaipur Railway Station, Dera Baghdarrah Nature Retreat Udaipur features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had the most amazing few days at Dera Baghdarrah. The food was the best we ate in all of Udaipur, and had plentiful vegan options upon our request. The tents were spacious, comfortable and well furnished, complete with hot water and electrical ports! I was a bit unsure as the payment method (razor pay) was not one that is used in the uk, however, it worked absolutely fine. They also recommended a taxi driver, who was punctual and friendly, with reasonable rates. The best part of our stay had to be the beautiful setting, and incredible people. The walks, jeep safari and zip line were a great way to see the reserve as well as some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Naveen‘s impressive knowledge of the local area and wildlife (especially the birds!) made our trip really special and we learned lots. We enjoyed interesting fireside chats with Pankaj, who also provided us with lots the information before the trip, and recommendations for what to do in Udaipur after. The rest of the staff were also really helpful and cooked up great meals. This experience was the highlight of our two week trip to udaipur and we can’t recommend it enough!

Offering a terrace and quiet street view, Golden Fort Resort is located in Jaisalmer, 41 km from Jaisalmer Fort and 7.8 km from Desert National Park. Very friendly and welcoming service. We enjoyed a nice evening with music and dancing. The dessert activities were fun too and a great way to see the surrounding landscapes. Chefs breakfast and dinner selection was very tasty too and we enjoyed sharing a meal together during our stay.

Set up during the annual Desert Festival, Jaisalmer Winds Desert Camp features luxury tents. Our stay at Winds Desert Camp was nothing short of incredible! The combination of luxury and authentic Rajasthani hospitality made our visit truly exceptional. The tents were spacious, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing desert experience. The evening was magical with a bonfire, traditional Rajasthani folk performances, and delicious local cuisine. The team’s warm and attentive service added a personal touch that made us feel so welcome. If you’re looking for a peaceful and cultural escape in the heart of the desert, Winds Desert Camp is a must-visit!

Located in Kumbhalgarh and only a few steps from Kumbalgarh Fort, Fateh Safari Resort by Fateh Collection provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We never stayed there, we were upgraded to the amazing and fairly new Fateh Safari Suites by Fateh Collection. Huge rooms, amazing accomodation in a very luxurious, roomy and beautiful hotel. Gorgeous food and amazing service. This was really an unexpected and excellent upgrade, although our original hotel was also rather amazing, but older. The only regret was that we were only there for one night.

Boasting quiet street views, Royal Empire Camp & Resort Jaisalmer provides accommodation with patio, around less than 1 km from Jaisalmer Fort. Staff was nice and helpful. They allowed me to check in earlier. Hotel is really close to the fort.
