This was one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. The rural property was beautiful and serene. I enjoyed the evening sitting outside of "the barn". Mary was so friendly and welcoming. The huts themselves were cozy and nicely decorated. I had a great sleep because it was so peaceful. The breakfast in the morning had lots of fresh and homemade products and was delicious.

County Carlow Military Museum is 28 km from the campground, while Carlow Golf Range incorp. Ian Kerr Golf Academy is 29 km from the property. The nearest airport is Dublin Airport, 93 km from The Log Cabin @ The Old Forge Glamping. Location and views were beautiful, our cabin was spotless, the hosts their children and pets where most welcoming, felt comfortable, safe and chilled. Even my older children enjoyed themselves. Definitely would come back 😀

The property has inner courtyard views and is 36 km from Kilkenny Railway Station and 37 km from Kilkenny Castle. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the river and garden. Beautiful peaceful… nice place to camp …
