Only 10 metres from the sandy beach of Mysiria and 3 km from Rethymno Town with its Venetian Harbour, Camping Elizabeth offers a taverna, snack bar and free WiFi throughout. It features air-conditioned accommodation with patio. We stayed in the bungalow, it was the epitome of glamping: it had rugs on the floor, hooks on the walls, a bed with sheets, pillows and blankets, a locked door, window, electricity to charge electronics and an electric kettle for tea in the morning as well as towels provided. The bathrooms were as close as the shore line and they had toilet paper and hot showers with plenty of room. There was also an available refrigerator for our bungalow but for people who prefer to cook there was a big shared kitchen with a fridge as well. At the end of our corridor there was a taverna open 8 AM - 4 PM. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, we had a great time!

The campground has a barbecue and a garden, which can be enjoyed by guests if the weather permits. So we were a little bit worried when booking because there weren't any reviews, but we liked the pictures and the location so much that we decided to go for it. So we made one of the best decisions. It was So much more than just a place to sleep and spend time. The caravans were the dream of this greek family which they created and maintain with So much love and compession that you can feel it. The place look amazing with quality furniture and equipments. We LOVED the shower in the garden mostly at night under the stars. Whatching movies outside on that projector felt like having our own outdoor cinema. We also loved the grill. Honestly everything about the place. 3 minutes walk and you are there at one of the most beautiful beaces of Crete. We also got great instructions from or host about which places to go to (supermarket, bakery-have to try, restaurant, programs). They were super helpful. Also we have to say that we are traveling the world for a few years now but never met with such an amazing hosts. We were treated as part of the family, even got a handmade little present when we left. And we are grateful that we had the chance to get to know them. If you like to be close to nature, and live in a little oasis, also experience this welcome, choose this place. We will definietly return one day, and never forget our time here!

Amazing view, very comfortable and clean, enough space to park a car. Special mention to our hosts: they were both fantastic people, they left a bottle of wine and fresh biscuits from a local bakery for us to enjoy (+ other snacks and refreshments) and at checkout we have even been gifted a handmade magnet of Crete. Chania Town is 30 km away and Chania Airport is within 45 km. The tents were comfortable. The toilets and showers were really clean. The food from breakfast to dinner was good.
