Very surprised how good this turned out to be. On a hostel/campsite base including a few chalets, this was a great cabin! Very clean, three bedrooms with all beds comfortable, kitchen & bathroom facilities were great and the site was lovely and peaceful.
Very good location. Quiet place. Perfect for familiy holidays or just for couples for city brake. No that far away there is one of the oldest trees and many paths to discover. The glamping pot was warm even if was quite cold outside. There is a bench outside with a fire/barbecue place. Inside we had a fridge, heater, microwave, kettle and toaster. Toilets and shower are in separate building. Very warm and clean!
Compact Lodge: everything was new. Very clean. Plenty of space for two. Free access to the children’s play facilities on site which was fabulous as provided entertainment for grandchildren we were there to see. Also we were able to barbecue (our own disposable bbq).
We were walking the West Highland Way for the second time, but we were at another accommodation in Tyndrum last year. This was amazing! To be honest, the best thing about our stay was the toilet in the hut. That is so confortable after days of using toilets on the other side of the campsite. Also, the hut was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the spot was quiet. Also, the shared shower was very clean and lots of space.
Loved the well designed "camper van" layout of the room. The bathroom looked brand new and was spotlessly clean. Everything seemed to be really well thought out and done to a high spec. The communal cooking and facilities and eating area were also very clean with enough hobs and fridge space for all guests and with lots of thoughtful touches (e.g. tea/coffee/cooking oils). Great location on the shores of Loch Lomond and walking/v short drive distance to a restaurant.
Facilities are excellent. Very clean toilets, showers incl sockets. Great washing up area incl washers and dryers. Stayed in a basic glamping cabin and loved that it had a fridge with ice compartment. I would bring a couple of extra pillows and maybe a mattress protector or extra duvet as sheets slide around on plastic mattress.
It’s a GREAT location in a relatively quieter part along Loch Lomond. A very short walk to a marina, beaches, restaurants etc. Close to the trail to Conic Hill. Very clean, very friendly place.
The glamping pods were amazing. They were so clean and well equipped including fridge, kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery, loo roll, soap, towels and linen. There is also fire wood, lighters and matches supplied for the campfire too. The views were amazing. The pod was warm and we can't wait to go back!
Beautiful campsite. Very clean facilities & lovely receptionist. Loved our stay!
