Cottage by the sea is gelegen in Hanko met uitzicht op de zee en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin, terras en speeltuin. I really enjoyed the tranquility. I was one of the few there, literally. Only a few lights in the Silverstrand facilities, saunas and kota-hut for me to enjoy with plenty of firewood. Sea was frozen. Snow. Enough far from the main roads. Beautiful stars. I could imagine how one might find all said a source for anxiety, but it all really depends what you're looking for. I wanted quiet time in a comfortable setting. I got exactly what I bargained for. Hanko is considered as a summer town, which it definitely is. Winter can be windy, cold and hostile in many ways, especially next to the ocean. It was all that, especially windy, but then it's all about the right gear and mind set. I got a feeling of being up north on this visit.

Solliden Camping in Pargas biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en een privéstrand. We've been at Solliden in the middle of July. Was not the hottest July ever, but we waited for weather to be pleasant enough. The cottages are quite small, but they all have everything that needed for a family of 3-4 people: running water, 2-burners stove, small fridge with freezer, tableware. Toilets are near the beach, but to get to the shower room one need to go uphill, via the camping site. That might be a problem with a small child sometimes. Although, the beach toilets are quite close. The camping kitchen is amazing, grill site also quite good. There are even a sandbox and swings near them, so kid won't be bored. Beach is small but really neat. In the end, we would recommend both camping and cottages.

Deze accommodatie ligt op 8 km van Lahti en biedt directe toegang tot de skipistes van het skicentrum Messilä. Location was quite good. Not directly in camping area but walking distance up the hill. Cottage was very well equipped. Almost everything was there including dishwasher.

Helsinki's Caravan Adventureヅ ligt in het centrum van Helsinki, dicht bij Strand Hietaranta, Winkelcentrum Kamppi en Helsinki Bus Station. De accommodatie biedt gratis fietsen en gratis WiFi. Lucas, the owner, promised me an adventure and I had one:) The camper was clean, comfortable, worth its price. Even when something wasn't working perfectly, it was an interesting experience to find solutions. Sompasauna is a place that has really great, almost family atmosphere. Staying at campers is the best possible way to feel the whole magic of it. I've learnt more about local people, their everyday habits and culture than at any hotel ever before. I honestly recommend planning travels to Helsinki and renting a camper from Lucas. And I have to admit that his attitude was incredibly helpful in many situations. After that short trip Finland became one of my favourite places on Earth.

A peaceful place in the middle of the countryside and wood, cute place to sleep, enjoy the silence and the quiet of the nature. The owner was super kind, we had a sauna and we tried to milk a goat! :)
