Sunset Camp is situated in Dār as Salām. Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the lake views. An à la carte breakfast is available each morning at the campground. We've had a wonderful time in Sunset Camp. Wael was so helpful with us, and we were very happy with the excursions he planned for us. Bassem, the guide he sent us to visit the desert was full of knowledge and so carring with us (helping us to have fair prices when he could have just stay in the car like the other guides). If you want a special experience while staying in Fayoum, you should go through Wael ! Dinner was very local and tasteful, and there is enough to eat for two in one dish. A large campfire is organized at night, and everyone is gathering around to sing and dance, a large group of Egyptians (It was holidays time in Egypt) was there that night, and they made us feel we were part of the family. Tents are simple but it's a fair value for the price. Definitely a place you should step by if you like to go out of the typical tourist tracks
