Saare-Toominga camping house is set in Väike-Rakke, 36 km from Tartu Cathedral, 36 km from Tartu Old Observatory, as well as 36 km from University of Tartu Natural History Museum. We came there to watch a meteor shower, but instead were presented with a marvelous thunderstorm view over the lake. The location was all you would expect: a path to the lake, some boats to rent, children playground with a trampoline and a slide. What we didn't expect was how cozy the house is. Sound- and mosquito-proof, there's a microwave, a fridge, a TV, and a kettle. Beds for four — and I think that was the best sleep we had this Summer.

What a friendly and generous person. We have also bought fish he catches and smokes himself, it was delicious. The area is breathtakingly beautiful but also tranquil. We were treated to the most beautiful sunset. Absolutely loved our stay.
