Good location - close to the tourist centre, and only ~15 min to the ocean beach, where the famous lighthouse is located. The area (at least now, in the winter) is super quiet and empty. There are very friendly dogs in the hostel and a beautiful patio, very nice to spend time there.
Good continental breakfast. Great location, if you like to be close to the beach. Cleanliness was okay. All in all good-value-for money.

The staff at La Serena Dream were wonderful! They were so kind and helpful and they made us feel like family. The property was beautiful and the pool was gorgeous but the weather was not really warm enough to swim. But we did sit beside the pool in the sun, which was lovely. You can walk to the beach easily from here, but you have to walk down a long gravel road.
Out in the middle of nowhere. We loved looking at the stars while enjoying a glass of wine around the campfire.
This hotel is spectacular - the staff are so friendly and attentive, the facilities are lovely and very clean. The rooms are spacious and are of a very nice design. The courtyard and common areas are so relaxing, and the restaurant is absolutely delicious!! The breakfasts in the morning are very generous and fresh too. Would highly recommend to stay here. We tried a couple of other restaurants in vicuna but by far this was the best! Great value for money.
Great owner, good English which is rare in Chile. The hot water didn’t work for hrs but she got it fixed. Location was a block from beach and lots of shops and restaurants. Massive TV! I’d likely stay again but if from Europe it was basic so be prepared and accept it
We wanted to stay somewhere on our way to Santiago form the north. Nice and comfortable place near the beach, protected parking behind gate, good and helpful host. Comfortable beds, shower, the place has has all you need.
Very clean, comfortable and clean. Good breakfast.
