At arrival we were told that there was no place despite our confirmed booking for two nights in a cabana. After some resistance form our side, we were offered a smaller alternative room without cooking possibilities. Being on a bicycle with no restaurants nearby a problem but apparently not the problem of the lady landlord.
The location is 3 km’s different from what is indicated on Booking.com Instead of the indicated quiet environment, it is located only 20 meters from the Ruta 5, a busy rooad. Despite the promise on Booking, no Wifi available. Wrong tel. number on Booking.
We don’t mind so much if things are going differently as expected and promised.
However, the day before we should arrive, we contacted the lady for location details and our arrival time, since we had our doubts about the correct location. No response was given. No communication at all.
The ‘take it or leave it’ attitude from the loud speaking lady on the telephone towards her employee we considered as rude, unpolite and not really Chilean.
An apologize would have been appreciated.
The only thing we could do was paying the full amount for less.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a very clean hostel. I especially enjoyed the spacious bathrooms and kitchen space. Good location in the centre of town close to the bus terminal and many grocery shops.
Modern, confortable well furnished cabanas. Great location, close to the beach and Ancud.
Nice breakfast, spacious room, good bed, private bathroom (in this room) bathroom which seemed almost new and very clean (congrats to the lady 🎩). Bed done and bathroom cleaned up after the first night (2 nights in here). Very nice view from the room and the table. And the workers do their best (slow spanish) so gringos can understand 🙂
Cozy Hostel with a lovely stuff that was very helpful with activities. All very clean and tidy. Can highly recommend.
This is a superb hotel. I had a single room for the price of a dorm. Its very clean. Pablo who runs the hotel was great. When I arrived they were doing a free bbq and I was invited to join - with wine included. Everyone was very warm and friendly despite my lack of Spanish. They don't do the bbq every day, I think I got lucky. but even without the bbq I will return because there was such a good atmosphere. The free breakfast was great too.
The play areas, including a Wendy treehouse with toys in it, for kids were amazing, in good condition and varied. Kid heaven! The beach is also ideal for swimming (albeit chilly in Jan 24) and soft sand for sandcastles. Sea kayaking was very peaceful. The staff were lovely and friendly. They have an onsite mini market to help you avoid getting back in the car, but the location is brilliant in terms of seeing Northern Chiloé.
Roberto was really helpful and organised a barbecue at the hostel with everybody, it was so nice and friendly ! The place is very clean, and located few minutes of walk next to the main plaza.
The cabins are located right in front of a beautiful beach, in an area with a lot of green and very well taken care of. They were very spacious and comfortable. We had a 2 floor cabin, which also had a nice terrace in one of the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable.
