There is no better location than Sol Ipanema, the views from the rooftop are breath taking. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and with great variety. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. I love that the hotel provides towels, chairs and umbrella for the beach.

Very clean and very comfy apartment. Charming deco with nice barbecue area. Beds are orthopedic level. Good quantity of warm covers. Surprisingly silent apartment despite being located in a very busy road. Walking distance to first commerce is about 500m.
The hostel was small and cute, and very clean, and the staff was super helpful. I prefer smaller hostels like this one over big chain ones, it's much more familiar. There are plenty of events going on and opportunities to talk to other travelers. The location is perfect, close to the beach, the metro, and the lagoon. The kitchen was well equipped with things you may need to cook meals which is a plus, to save money.
Everything! Location was perfect and within walking distance to all amenities- beach, restaurants, supermarkets, 150m from the metro. Staff were fabulous. Bed was very comfortable. Rooms very clean. Breakfast good! Great value for money.
Fantastic location just a block from the beach, two large bedrooms and one bathroom, good sized lounge and galley kitchen. Very clean and basic toiletries provided. Ceiling fan in twin room and (noisy) and air conditioning unit in double room. Carmen, who owns the apartment and stays in a room in the back, was very welcoming and helpful. Initially seemed a bit odd for her to be in the apartment with us but after initial check in we didn’t see or hear her again until we checked out 5 days later!
Fantastic apartment right on the beach. Very clean with lots of space. Our apartment was well stocked and we could cook our own food easily. Air conditioning was very good.

Good location. Very close to the beach. Staff were nice but seemed very disorganised and didn’t really know what was going on. No help offered with regard to booking trips, giving information about the area. Common areas very clean.
Lucas & Leticia the owners really look after you. As it’s a small family business you get the extra touch of service which is nice. Location is great as it’s in its own part of the beach and you get to see the sunsets. Good location to connection from tours around the islands and back to the mainland via boat. Very quiet and safe place. Quite a few restaurants to choose from and a couple of small convenience stores selling basic items. Very clean and great breakfast!
