Torquay
Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park is a beachfront campground located at the start of the picturesque Great Ocean Road. Just a minute’s walk from Torquay Surf Beach, guests can enjoy the sound of waves breaking on this beach, which also offers a great spot for surfing, fishing and swimming. I like the cosiness of the property and it is clean, tidy and spacious! At first I thought I am going to stay in a caravan but it is actually a cabin with so many facilities like kitchenette and a sofa couch, it even has an oven.I felt so much at home! The hair dryer has it’s wire attached at the bottom and it is not fix to the wall, so u can pull it to your desired length and also and blow your hair at the comfort of your room instead of standing in the toilet. You have a cottage-feel cabin all to yourself and you can park your car right next to it, this really helps in the unloading and loading of our luggages. If you are someone who are particular about the towels, the towels are really clean and have a nice fragrance. The towels passed my wife’s inspection and she used it! The beach is just a few minutes walk away which you can access from the back gate of the property and there is a kiosk at the beach as well. The location is superb, surrounded by restaurants and cafes.

Could not rate Kennet river camping site any higher! Definitely our top spot when choosing a location to camp. Right across from the ocean for morning swims and surrounded by bustling towns for a delicious lunch and cozy campfires on site for the evening. Staff were incredible and always up for a chat. Would highly recommend for anyone thinking of camping along the Great Ocean Road!
Very clean room in a great location to shops, beach & pub.
Very close to town centre, kids loved gaming room and pool. Also very clean and tidy. Beautiful sunrise over the beach
We were in a cabin at the very end that had recently been renovated which was beautiful. Overlooking the creek and away from a lot of the main facilities. The camping facilities are fabulous and very clean. Camping spots are beautiful too. Love that it is small and well spaces out.
The camp site we had was great. Shady and large enough for our little camper. Close to the beach.
We came in winter (end of July). The view is just insane. The beach is downstairs literally across ocean road (which is quite calm at least in winter). You can hear the waves at night, just amazing ! There is also a fire place for cosy warm evening which I really loved. The house is also very clean and the bed really comfortable. It is all nicely furnished and cosy. There is also everything you need to cook, including a barbecue. Very easy check in/out and good wifi.
Campsite was very well kept, extremely clean and the other guests were great. The pool was clean, the playground lots of fun and the very short walk to the beach made things super easy. The roaming kangaroos throughout the campsite made for a unique camping experience too.
We stayed in a "glamping Pod" just for the experience ...go through the nearby gate and you are on the main back beach ie surf beach. Coffee and snacks right there so you can get to everywhere without walking through the rest of the park . We did use the nearby BBQ which was very clean and then promptly cleaned by the next morning .Bed extremely comfortable and basic Toaster , kettle and fridge. Toilet block a short walk away but take a torch if a night visit is expected. A paired back acommodation but a bit of fun
took me back to my youth camping down at the beach in the 80,s. beautiful evenings with rolling waves close by. great escape from the city. The glamping pod was very cute and a nice compact design. can not wait to do it again.
