Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
A repeat visit. Perfect stopover point on the banks of the Orange River with breathtaking views of the river and Namibian mountains. Extremely comfortable beds, very clean, good shower, peaceful garden with benches to enjoy the view and lovely hosts, we will be back.
Try arrive early or leave late to enjoy the surroundings.
Awesome venue. Found by chance and so happy I did.. Sorry we didn't meet Cathy, who was most helpful telephonically, host Adrian helpful and friendful. Staff Agnes, Clementine, Manus, Strong Boy and Anri, and so.n Henda made me feel like family. Had a safe orange river rafting with Manus at Rapid Adventures. Place is neat tidy, comfortable safe. Would recommend this venue any time for campers and self catering traveller's.
Kwelenga has a very nice setting on the banks of the Orange River. The chalets are well equipped and comfortable. They have a pool and a nice bar area which is nice because Vioolsdrif can become very hot. They also have nice camping spots. We were on our way to Namibia and only stayed one night and will do so again. River rafting seems to be a big part of their business.
