Lovely welcome & great to have firewood for the fire pit. We were further away from eateries than realised so needed to drive as we weren't camping just stopping one night in a cabin.
I loved the campground site. There is a beautiful river around the campgrounds which we were able to hear running while at our campsite. I love the dim lighting at night, we were provided free firewood for the first night and you can purchase another set for $10 which was cheaper than the nearby stores. The staff was exceptional and very kind. One of them provided us with an entire itinerary that was amazing. Only issue was the futon bed was not that comfortable but it was tolerable
It was better than my expectations.
It is pretty warm in the cabin. There is heater. Hot water shower is nice.
No reception at the campground at all. You need to go to nearly library to get free wifi.
We rode around and looked at the campgrounds in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. We really liked the campground area and would reconsider camping there. These high priced cabins were a rip off
The premises are amazing, the true star of the stay. Amidst a beautiful forest with giant trees. The walks around the camping grounds and to the restaurant are beautiful. Just take the car out of the driveway and your nearby all the main sights of Big Sur, Pfeiffer beach, Big Sur Bakery, hiking spots etc.
