The place is an excellent farm-stay, run by a lovely and friendly family. Our 3 year old had a gala time, plucking apples and plums from the family orchard, playing with the dog and jumping on the trampoline. Our biggest regret is we didn't stay longer.
We had the last cabin, with a very green view, waking up to the call of the rooster.
It's about 10 minutes from the dam, by car. We saw wild bear on the drive to the dam.

I stayed in a double room at the guesthouse. The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly. The wood decor might not be to everyone's taste, but I appreciated the air conditioning and mosquito screens on the windows. The small terrace was a nice touch as well. Had a very good omlett and a very good coffee. Overall, a good experience especially for a more than fair price.

I recently stayed at Pensiunea Cer de Munte, and it was an incredible experience. The location is fantastic, situated close to the trailhead for Vârful Moldoveanu, making it a perfect spot for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The bedding and all house was clean, the kitchen was equipped, there was a barbecue in the yard. Very kind and helpful landlord, really beautiful place to spend time with friend or family.

The food was good. The portions are rather small - they are (not unsuccessfully) leaning towards fine dining. It's a very upscale restaurant for such a remote area.
The rooms were very clean, well equipped and unexpectedly well insulated.
Great place for a short hike, where you can enjoy the beautiful rural landscape, surrounded by peaceful farm animals.
It is one of the best houses I have stayed in in this region. Great location, very clean, very nice owners. The yard has all the amenities. I felt like I came to my grandmother's village for summer vacation))
