The tree house is an interesting experience. It's quite cute and pretty high up so you should be able to climb ladders and parts of the trees as well. It's really simple in terms of furniture and there is obviously no electricity so no lights (apart from a little fairy light that doesn't enlighten the room) or possibility of charing your phone in the tree house.
Additionally the tree house has no option to lock it as there's no key or anything. There's a strong sense of trust in the reservoir so that wasn't really a problem for us.
What you should know:
-It helps being comfortable with climbing in the total dark as there's no light near the tree house or the ladder. It turned out to be a good idea just to bring a backpack with the most important items and leave the rest in the car (so u have your hands free while climbing the ladder)
-You shouldn't be surprised with an aunt crossing your way from time to time
-it can get quite chilly at night because there are open parts in the tree house walls so bring a sweater if you'd like
- there are community toilets and showers (two of each) and you should not use non biological products. The toilets have no running water.
- it's really quiet and beautiful
- It really isn't a relaxing luxury type of stay (there's mosquitos, the toilet smells etc.) but it's a fun way of spending the night in an exciting place!

We really loved staying at Nova Alofa, Loes and Mario are very nice and welcoming.
We stayed at the caravan and it was cozy and quiet, a place to relax and enjoy the nature.
We'll surely come back when in Portugal.

Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Ana was fantastic. Very friendly and professional. The accommodation is very clean and cosy. Feels like home. Close to the beach and restaurants. We've had a pleasant stay and will come back on next trip.
There were many things to do at the campsite. It is a lovely setting for camping. The rooms are very basically equipped. Spacious rooms. Good spot on the fishermans trail.
Location wise very near to the village centre and beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The house has everything that you need to cook and eat in .

We had a wonderful stay in Zambujeira do Mar. Maria was a very welcoming and warm-hearted host. The room was nicely decorated and had a nice balcony from which we could see the ocean. Everything was very clean. The main street with some restaurants is close by as well as the beach. We enjoyed hiking along the coast a lot.
The Hostel is Very clean and comfy. The position is super, just behind the Main square, the Beach and the sunset bar. The shared bathrooms are regular bathrooms, and they are Very homie.
The room was so cosy and very clean. Thank you to the ladies that was cleaning every day. Very close to the beach and restaurants. We had a lovely time.
Carlos the host was very hepfull and answered all our questions, we came earlier so let us to check in earlier.

The location is perfect, close to the wonderful beach, with a great sunset view. We had dinner there that was very good and enjoyed it very much. It was very clean and breakfast was very good and enjoyed it on the music of Amalia Rodriguez. The garden is amazing and was full of flowers at the end of May. The personal was very helpful. We enjoyed very much the time spent there and hope to be back soon.
Super clean room, very friendly and welcoming host! we stayed at Alojamento Sudoeste for one night during walking along Rota Vicentina. It was perfectly located with only a few minutes to the beach, a few mini markets and restaurants. The room and Bathroom were very clean and we even had a water boiler, cups and tea in the room. Definetely recommend!
