Everything! It was a bit far from Alona beach but its fine. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the resort. Loved the food! We actually preferred it over the food we had outside. They also pack sandwiches for you for breakfast in case you have to go early for an activity and umable to have it at the resort.

it was very spacious and clean with LOTS of light coming in through the full-height windows/slide-doors.
I slept like a baby with open slide door and window enjoying the pleasant ocean breeze, didnt need the AC at all! sometimes there is less wind and these were the nights when I dreamed of a fan.
place is very quiet in the night, the beach is a few meters away. the staff is very friendly and ready to help!
Nice and big, fully equipped apartment perfect for a family stay. If you have a car, it has a very convenient location between the city and mainland Bohol and the beaches of Panglao. Very calm and safe residential area. Big TV with Netflix appealed to kids while I appreciated the coffee machine :).
Only 5 little huts on the river, really beautiful view from them all. We booked last minute as my partner wasn’t well so realised we needed somewhere to base ourselves to help him get better. Location was great for us as we wasn’t wanting to do much however it was slightly further away from the beaches.
They help you rent scooter too for P500 a day.
The owner was so kind and welcoming when we met her the next day, telling us about the dogs she’s adopted and feeding the little kittens.
The Mayanas Resort was our last accomodation in the Philippines and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful, they organized more trips for us which was great. The room was quite big and very clean. Also, the food in the restaurant was amazing, we came back hungry almost every evening just so we can eat at the hotel :D. The pool was always clean, we enjoyed using it in the evenings. Although the hotel is a little far away from Alona beach, but you rent a scooter at the hotel and so everything is accessible in 15 minutes around.
