It's a really nice place. It's very clean and it's located a bit above the city, hence the view is nice. The host is very friendly and helpful. He chatted with me when I arrived at 6 am, and he even offered breakfast. Furthermore he gave me some great tips on what to do in puno for one day. I can definitely recommend that place.
The location is perfect; we had a room with a balcony and we loved to look down on Plaza de Armas. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near the hotel. Breakfast was also very good. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. We would stay here again.
Traditional hotel in perfect central location. Very clean and well maintained. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the main square and cathedral. Breakfast was one of the best we have had during our travels in Sth America, with a generous variety of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
The hostel was very clean, comfortable and quiet
We got a very nice private room with private bathroom that was perfect. The bathroom had hot water which was perfect after a day of trekking/hiking.
Also the common spaces are very nice and quiet with hot water always available for coca or muna tea.

Absolutely to try
The stuff was super friendly and we were able to leave our luggage here the whole day, it was very clean and warm (even though it had like 3 degree Celsius outside).
I really enjoyed staying at Ricardo and Cynthia's lodge! The bedroom is huge, very clean and comfortable, and the bed on the balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset with their lovely dogs. The large and comfortable bed is a plus, considering it is much more common in Peru for hotels to offer double beds instead of queen or king sizes. Ricardo and Cynthia are lovely hosts, providing information about local culture and arranging tours for their guests. They also prepare meals there at a fair price.
Giovanni is an excellent host, he can arrange tours that are cheaper than the agencies, very clean dorm, good wi-fi, cheap laundry, my dorm had a kitchen, safe and secure, close to centre.
I'd stay again.
We had a large room which was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every day. There was tea available all day and breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helped us to arrange taxis. The laundry service was also very good!
We loved to stay with Lea, Mario and their family. They show you everything around the Uros Islands and give you a great insight in their life. The room was very clean with a nice view. Lea made us some warm bottles for the feet because it was cold outside. We can totally recommend to stay here!!
