Wahiba Bedouin Rustic Camp, hotel in Shāhiq

Located in Wahiba Sand in the North Eastern province, Wahiba Bedouin Rustic Camp offers eco-friendly accommodations.

Had a great one night stay at Wahiba Bedouin Rustic Camp. Before we headed to Wahiba Sands, we got clear instructions to drive to the camp. The camp itself was located beautifully, next to a long row of sand dunes. We were pleased with the amount of free activities that were included in the price and had very nice chats with the owner and his son. They were very passionate about their Bedouin history and it was great to hear from them. Would definitely recommend!

Marbella bungalows desert, hotel in Shāhiq

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, mountain view and a balcony, Marbella bungalows desert is located in Bidiyah. The property features garden and quiet street views.

I recently stayed at Marbella Bungalows Desert, and it was an incredible experience! The location in the heart of Bidiyah is perfect for anyone wanting a quiet escape in the desert. The bungalows are super spacious, clean, and designed to give you a cozy but authentic desert vibe. Waking up with the dunes right outside was absolutely stunning. The staff was awesome—super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. They set up dune bashing tours for us, and made sure breakfast was great every morning. The hospitality here is top-notch. I also tried some of the activities they offer, and I highly recommend them! I went camel riding, which was only 10 Rials per person for 15 minutes, and it was a unique way to explore the desert. The dune bashing during sunset was another highlight—such an adrenaline rush, and totally worth the 25 Rials for two people. The desert tour was an unforgettable adventure. We visited a traditional Bedouin house, saw the Oryx and deer at the One Thousand Night camp, and explored 70 km into the deep desert. The entire experience, at 45 Rials per person, felt like a journey back in time and really completed the trip. One of my favorite moments was sitting around the campfire under the stars—so peaceful! It’s the perfect place for couples or small families who want to get away from the city and enjoy the beauty of the desert in comfort. I highly recommend Marbella Bungalows Desert if you’re looking for an unforgettable desert experience!

The team was great and super helpful. Quick communications and clear instructions and directions. The views were absolutely amazing and lovely night sky filled with stars. Food was super tasty and freshly made on barbecue with vegetables and rice and fries. Breakfast also made fresh when you come to the breakfast table. We also rode quad bikes in the dunes which was great!!!

Great location, but that is well known. The camp has its own traditional style, which we liked very much. The buffet / food was very good. Much better than we expected. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Deepak was always there if needed. Plenty of activities to chose from. We enyjojed the free stargazing experience with our Irani guide very much. Also the campfire had a great mood. All in one we would love to come back.

The transfer arrived on time. The campground is very clean. We were especially pleased with the clean toilets. We lived in a cozy three-person tent. There is also a large tent on site for all guests, where fresh fruit, tea, coffee and dates are always available. Many thanks to the host for the opportunity to admire the desert, for the delicious dinner and breakfast, and for the ATV ride. It was truly unforgettable. We will definitely be back. We recommend this place to everyone.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, shower was good in the day (water is the temperature of the air so showering in the day was great), and the best part was the seating area outside the tent to watch the stars at night! There was barely any light pollution so could see the stars very clearly. The food served for dinner was delicious too, perfectly barbecued chicken! It was great chatting to other guests too at dinner, breakfast and around the campfire.
