I had an amazing experience staying one night at Atana Bidiya Private Camp. The elevated tent setup in the middle of the desert was unique and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding dunes, especially during sunrise and sunset.

Its confortable its clean the breakfast is very nice me and my family like all the activities .The campfire stories are interesting,we can see the sunrise and the sunset in the desert but for sunrise need to come at 6:00am.Their collations (coffee,tea) are nice.The quad(need to pay for quad) is good too,we can feed the baby’s goats,take milk,feed the camels and touch them.The staff is very friendly,that s a good experience in Oman.I think thats better than hotel in desert camping is better.

Sandglass was exactly what it said on the tin - a basic but well located camping spot in the desert. The food was great, the hosts very welcoming and kind and a very comfortable bed for the night.
It's a small desert camp that offers a genuine and authentic experience. Said is a great host, very informative and welcoming. He tells plenty of stories and is an avid traveler himself. We loved the food and campfire at night. The desert itself is breathtaking.

Great stay, very friendly staff and pretty property. The bed was the most comfortable one we had in our whole Oman’s stay, and the tent was very clean.
Possibility to drive on our own with our 4x4 in the desert, possible to slide down the dunes and enjoy the sunset.
The drive to the location is easy, and a staff member drove with us to make sure we didn’t get lost.
A very nice campsite in the desert. Good quality for the price, you pay less than with some other (sometimes overpriced) accomodations. Lovely beauiful, big and clean tent, very good diner and breakfast, so much food and very tasty! We had our onw little shower/toilet. Great staff that will share beautiful storioes. A fantastic experience camping overnight in the dunes, we slept in camp beds in a family-sized tent with rugs on the floor. Very comfortable. Nearby toilet and shower facilities were clean and efficient. The camp is far enough into the dunes to feel like a real desert experience, but close enough to the highway to be one of the more accessible desert camps in the area. Our host Said was very hospitable, arranged great camel and jeep excursions and prepared a tasty dinner and breakfast. Amazing star-filled night sky.
Everything was perfect! The stay, the camel ride, the sunset, the dinner and...the stars!!! What a wonderful night we spent in this camp. The tend was very clean and comfortable. It can be cold at night, but we spent and good night and the morning was fantastic waking up with the sunrise 😍.
After the dinner we spent very good time with Abdullah and the other people camping at the fire spot telling stories and sharing travel tips. It has been a very nice experience.
