It's small camping by a river with amazing view over the mountain and the glacier. The house we stayed in was renovated, clean, spacious and cozy. The staff was very nice, and they make excellent pizza at the small restaurant at the reception

Very clean, comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. Shower was hot and powerful. Nice seating area as you walk in and picnic table outside. Breakfast was very nice and well presented. The setting on the edge of the fjord was outstanding.
Very cozy cabin with kitchen, even a dishwasher! Everything seems new and stylish. It's quiet (in June), the campground got a great view. Homemade pastries in the Reception. We had a perfect time!
We stayed here recently for two nights as a couple on honeymoon. And Wow, it was amazing. Beautiful cottage, very clean and modern with the most amazing view. Has to be one of the most nicest places I have ever stayed. And the hosts are very nice and helpful.
The Hjelle hotel has a long history and the stroy behind each room is quite interesting. It seems like we stayed in the room which belonged to one of the main female founders of this hotel. The current owner is very hospitable and helpful. The room itself is very clean and cozy , with a great view of green fields and lake. We all love it! If only got chance, I will not hesitate to spend a two or three days vacation here.
The location and view of this camping is just magical.
So quiet, right by the river.
The unit is not large but was adequate for our needs (family of 4).
