A great little camper, ideal for one person for a few days. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean and cozy, and that comfort and cleanliness goes for everything else too. Kitchen is well-appointed in spite of its size, and the presence of electricity, kettle, running water for dish-washing, and outdoor drinking water tap were nice luxuries. It's located at the very edge of the camping area, which means peace and quiet. The camping area, Klein Vaarwater, is a stone's throw from the beach, dunes, t'Oerd, and village of Buren, but also is its own little village, complete with grocery store and a few eateries. The toilet and shower facilities are a bit dated but still clean, and the water pressure of the showers is absolutely phenomenal.
Outside of the permanent buildings, you share the space not just with other humans, but also wildlife. Wherever I went, there were rabbits and birds. I got scolded by an oystercatcher for straying too close to its adolescent babies, shared my breakfasts with a couple of jackdaws, and opened the door one morning to see a mother pheasant with a half dozen tiny chicks! She watched me, I watched her, and she ambled off with her peeping brood of fluffballs trailing behind.
Communication with the owner was wonderful both over text and in person. Notes were left around the camper to explain how to use appliances and there was a a card (in Dutch and German) with very handy tips and tricks. She also texted a few days into my stay to touch base and make sure all was well, and was absolutely lovely and happy to give advice and recommendations. A really warm welcome to Ameland!

Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Very clean and chic apartment.
Also loved the little details which makes it more special, like slippers and a bathrobe and the very nice goody bag with lovely snacks.
Will definitely return.
