Marinaparcs Almere, hotel in Almere

Providing a terrace, Marinaparcs Almere provides accommodations in Almere. There's a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay.

We went there during Spring (mid April). And although it was freezing at night, the beds kept us very warm during the night. The camp is a bit hard to find, especially if you arrive late, but the host provided a lot of useful information so it was easy to find it with their instructions. The tent was at an idyllic camp place on the beach far away from the port entrance (5 min by foot), and there was a rowboat next to the tent that you could use to explore the waters. The camp place had a separate trailer with kitchen and a playground for children. The restaurant "Harbour House" nearby (5 min from port entrance) and the supermarket/cafe "Plus Duin" (also 5 min away from port entrance, follow the street signs for the fastest route) were great.

Location was very far out: tram+train/metro combination plus walking about 10-15min from the tram stop. Room itself was very clean+compact. Good bed.

We went there for 3 nights and we had a good time there. If you except to face with 5 star hotel rooms, so please don't go there, its not a hotel, but if you want to be in somewhere quiet and clean in the nature near Amsterdam with reasonable price, then go there. There are some rooms which have private bathroom and kitchen but we booked for shared bathroom room ones, and found its bathrooms new and clean. With public transport you can reach easily to city centre. It has camp site for camper-vans, and there is parking lots as well.

Great views from the room. We booked a basic room but it was very clean and comfortable. Toilet and shower facilities were great. The hotel had a vending machine and facilities to purchase snacks and water etc which was very convenient. It is only a few minutes walk from the tram line into the city. We were able to leave our luggage in secure lockers at the hotel after check out while we explored on our last day. Air con was fabulous!
