The host Aziz was a wonderful host. He took me to the Oasis and Chigaga Erg. He also arranged for my return taxi which was extremely helpfu.l He made my desert adventure a very memorable one. Chef Barack is a very kind person who makes delicious vegan food. I highly recommend this property.

The camp is in an amazing location, very close to Erg Chegaga. For 25 € each, we did a sunrise camel tour to Erg Chegaga and then climbed to the top to enjoy the sunrise. What an amazing experience. It was only the two of us! so we had it all for us! we went in mid-November and the camp was empty. Only us. Which means we definitely enjoyed the quietness of the desert. Special thanks to Hamza, our driver, who provided us with so much information about the desert and beduin life. He's a great guy!

Everything! A magical experience in the desert. We stayed one night in Mhamid camp, and one more in the big dunes. Mhamid camp has great small, very warm houses. We spend most of the night sleeping under the stars in front of our hut. Allal made a bonfire and hosted us with tea, peanuts and biscuits. It was amazing. We had our small adventures on the way to the big dunes, which made the trip even more exciting.

it was a perfect location, in the middle of the dunes and sandy bit, staff were super friendly and helpful. very reasonable and so comfortable with beds. did some sand boarding too which was definitely a highlight. a once in a lifetime opportunity.

The desert camp is very nice and well organised. you could sleep under a sky full of stars, watch sunset after a camel ride, have a traditional dinner few steps away Sahara Desert.

Located across the Draa River from the village, it has a vast site and an open and quiet environment, and just stepping outside the room makes you feel like you're camping in an oasis.
The staff member was friendly, and even though it was late at night the previous day, he personally arranged a two-day, one-night private 4x4 tour for me and took me to the sand dunes.
It Was a very special experience for us to stay in the desert. Aziz gave us the possibility to feel the tranquility and vastness in the open space of the desert. The feeling of freedom and peace in the mind. Reconnect with the pure energy of nature....the stars, the dunes, the animals and the experience of the Camping in a still non touristic environment. Ali is amazing. He taught us lots about the nomad culture, and the facility was very clean. He's an amazing chef and even got up at 5:30am to cook us breakfast when we had an early bus to catch. He even gave us a ride to the bus station. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, would highly recommend staying here!!
Our stay at the Erg Chigaga camp exceeded all expectations. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts made us feel like family. The campsite was well-maintained, and our tent was cozy and clean. Waking up to the sunrise over the dunes was a mesmerizing sight. The guides were knowledgeable and made our camel trek enjoyable and safe. Our night in this camp was absolutely magical! The campsite was well-organized, the tents were comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The highlight was the evening under the starlit sky, enjoying traditional music around the campfire. It was a truly wonderful experience that I will cherish forever."
Hosts are amazing! Great atmosphere by the campfire at night. Food is good. Little primitive ofcourse (no shower, no electricity) but no problem for us. Only downside was that the outdoor lounge that was mentioned on booking.con was not there, but we could just sit on a carpet no problem. We really enjoyed our stay because of the great hosts and their hospitality!
We had the best time with Larbi and his brother who are genuine Berbers. We drunk a lot of "Berber whiskey" aka tea, they made us the best tajine and breakfast was delicious too. We also got an amazing insight to the Berber's desert life. The dunes are right next to the campsite and nightsky full of stars. Bed was clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back!
