I liked the location of the hotel, very convenient to find, the place was very clean, easily accessible. The owner also helped with carrying of luggage. They had a nice onsen with everything easily placed. The room's size was also big enough for my luggage, etc.
Comfortable and huge room. Private hot spring bath with lovely garden view. (Also with 5 little yellow ducks for kids.) Although it's a bit old but very clean.
The Ryokan’s owner and staff were very accommodating despite not fluent in English (they used a translation app to comms with us). Meals were a delicious challenge (there was just so much yummy things to eat!), the family onsen next to our room had an outdoor onsen which was pleasant to use (water was cooler). Amenities were abundant, room was very clean, futon was very soft and fluffy to sleep on.
Wow. Unbelievable stay at Baien. Incredible value with Japanese Bungalow style huts. Very nice public and private onsens, both of which were very clean. Breakfast was very nice in the morning. Don't forget to go by happy hour where you can make your own drinks and hang out in the beautiful lounge area. Was the best place we stayed in during our 3 week trip around Japan.
