The rooms are Western and Japanese with views of the rice field. The shared bathrooms are very clean and offer everything (cosmetics, hairdryer, etc). The best location possible! You can walk everywhere including Indoji to catch the ferry. The best beaches on Iki are all within walking distance. Stock up on food though, the only thing you can get nearby is 2 vending machines.

Your hosts Usan and Masumi are amazingly friendly and wonderful hosts. They cook delicious food for you and help you enjoy your stay. The location is very peaceful, with nearby beaches, sights and ports.

Stayed at Ikibase guesthouse for 7 days. At the arrival Takuji one of the main staff members welcomed us very warmly. He showed us what we can do on Iki. In addition, he was very courteous and helpful so that he helped us among other things to reserve a bike. Also at the departure he ordered a cab for us on request. In general, the IkI Guesthouse offers everything you need. The 3rd best beaches are also just around the corner. On Iki you should either rent a bike or a car, because there are not supermarkets everywhere.

Sadly we booked only one night. The hotel it self is perfectly placed, near to a wonderful beach. Only if you want to shop food ore drinks, it's highly recommended to have a car to deposale.

Excellent location, close to the beaches, not far for the Ikikoku museum, which is a Must if you want to learn about Iki history. Furthermore, Yoko who takes care of Ikibase is very helpful if you want to visit Iki. The place to be when you visit this lovely island.

The guesthouse is very new and super clean. It's in walking distance to airport (10min) and best beaches of Iki (10min) surrounded by rice fields.. They have a spacious common/kitchen area. Rooms are nice as well equipped with futon beds.
