We had a lovely stay in the small but cozy bungalow. It had everything you need and was very modern. It also had free Instant Ramen. The view was amazing and the location is beautiful and calm. There aren't many tourists at the lake, which is a nice change compared to the rest of Bali. On the other hand it's a little hard to get to the Hotspots, but you can rent a scooter at the Warung Makan, which the host recommended and is a great food spot also!
The owner of Ginastro Hom is also very kind and helpful, he made a bonfire for us both nights we were there, which was a nice experience.

The view was absolutely stunning and made me feel like I was hiking real mountains! The trekking track was full of surprises, which turned into an adventure treat. There was a narrow path that felt a bit scary, but it added to the thrill. I'm glad they don’t sell alcohol—it helps keep the experience safe and enjoyable!

I absolutely loved every single aspect of this paradise spot. Randomly I found this place - it was surely meant to be that i ended up here for 3 nights. I searched for a calm spot in Bali and this area came up and straight away I fell in love as soon as I saw the photos. I had tears when I saw this place, because I was so touched of its beauty.
The people working there were all extremely friendly, lovely, and so helpful. I loved the fire at night, the fresh river, the amazing food, I had Gado Gado, a cappuccino, fresh fruit every morning, pizza and beer and it was all delicious.
The tent was amazing, the bed very comfortable, it had all i needed and the toilets and showers so clean and natural
Come here if you just want to relax and wind down in a quiet peaceful spot. I'd also recommend to not tell too many people (social media) about this as we want to keep it a well kept secret and not the New Ubud. ;)
To do there: cooking classes at Natya River, massages from professional masseur Wayan, or also ricefield tours (2hours) with Wayan, rafting in the river (different river nearby) and lots more

The views were stunning and the hike to the Homestay more than worth it. It's a real gem hidden in a hill with amazing views to the rice fields and the mountains and worth visiting.
Amazing sunset in the back and sunrise in the front. You can't get beat that.
Staff was really kind and friendly.
Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
The accommodation was fabulous, very clean, extremely comfortable and felt luxurious. Excellent value for money. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and friendly and they went out of their way to help us! We would highly recommend Batur Cottage to anyone.
The location is just perfect, you have a beautiful view and you’re next to the lake. If you want to do a hike up to Mount Batur, you can just start the hike from the Glamping site.
The staff was very friendly and did their best to make you feel at home. The tents are nicely done and the food and cocktails are pretty great!

Beautiful location, next to the lake. It is in a very "local" little place, next to chickens, fisherman, stuff like that, which I love but for some may be offputting. Sunrise here on the lake can be epic...
The owners are very lovely people and will welcome you warmly. This goes a long way! The breakfast was good, we took it to our balcony which was super nice.
Room was very clean, fresh, well furnished with a decent bathroom. Bed was very good quality nice places to put your belongings
The family hosting us was very nice, they arranged everything for us : taxi pick up, guide to climb mont Batur with drop off and breakfast at the top, drove us to hot springs…

Beautiful room with a nice hot tub outside, very clean and comfortable. The ac works well. Putu was absolutely amazing very helpful and kind and went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing stay. We did the keep tour with him and saw sunrise. Would definitely recommend staying here.
The rooms were clean, modern and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Amazing food, arranging our mount batur trek with an incredible guide and even setting up a campfire for us. Couldn’t possibly recommend staying here more for your trip to Mount Batur.
