Everything was delightful,well equipped and attractive.The hostess was charming and very helpful.It was convenient for the village and cafes at the nearby beach,and very central for travelling round the Island.

Excellent price, great value for money. Convenient location if your focus is on the numerous attractions of the West (Caribbean) coast of Basse-Terre and if you have a car. The quality of the apartment is outstanding. Everything is modern and very clean. Very comprehensive kitchen equipment. All you could ever need is available. Strong WiFi. Quiet, apart from the occasional car along the road. Strong hot water supply. Good communication with host who lives on site and is flexible. Would book again.
The small house is inside a fenced garden with some bigger houses. You get an code for the keybox. Very well equipped kitchen and a small Veranda for breakfast and dinner, very suitable if it is rainining. You can park the car in front of your house. The bathroom is big, with washing machine. A typical barbecue is also ready to grill you own fish.
Beautiful setting, imaginative and natural spaces. We sat on our little terrace among the plants a lot. Kitchen and bathroom were perfect we loved staying in the tipi.
It was easy to get to the beaches nearby and we also got to see the waterfall.
The location was absolutely wonderful, just off from the main road and close to Malendure (for diving centres) and the Route de la Traversee (for rainforest hiking). It felt like a safe location, too. The little local beach is beautiful and peaceful.
The host, Liliane, was very friendly and welcoming, and so helpful when we asked for advice about visiting the area.
The house itself was gorgeous, with a comfortable bed and lovely layout. We would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys being in the nature in peaceful surroundings.
West Indies was our favorite accommodation in Guadeloupe. The appartments are beatiful and very clean, just as the swimmingpool. Owner Olivier is very kind and thoughtful, he even brought breakfast as a surprise our last morning. We would definitely recommend West Indies to everybody who visits Guadeloupe.
