Skipbridge farm glamping, hotel in York

Set in York, 13 km from York Railway station, Skipbridge farm glamping offers accommodation with a hot tub. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

A beautiful stay at Skipbridge Farm Glamping! The pod exceeded my expectations and although it looks gorgeous online, the photos don’t do it justice! It was the most perfect, cosy night. You can tell that so much thought has gone into this place, with all the amenities you could possibly need, I was so surprised at all the little touches. Absolute 10/10! The host is so friendly too and the hospitality is great. Will definitely return and would 100% recommend if you’re looking for the perfect cosy escape from reality! Loved it, thank you!

Nala Lodge, hotel in Knaresborough

Nala Lodge is set in Knaresborough, 8.8 km from Harrogate International Centre, 9.1 km from Royal Hall Theatre, and 10 km from Ripley Castle. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area.

Cosy clean mobile home on a well kept site. The home was warm, well equipped and conveniently placed on the site. The heating was easy to control and we were spoiled for choice for cooking with an oven, microwave and air fryer to choose from. The site is in a good location for exploring the area. To get into Knaresborough there is a lovely riverside woodland path of about a mile but I think it could be slippy after wet weather. The 1a bus tops just outside the site which goes to both Knaresborough and Harrogate should you wish to leave the car behind. There are also 2 trains an hour to York from Knaresborough. There is a retail park directly opposite with an M&S food store.

Very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee, Freeview TV. Building was quiet, cozy and in peaceful location, a short 20-minute walk to the edge of the old town. No cafes or shops around, but there were a couple of convenience stores a short 10 minute walk away.

There were facilities for washing, and cooking which were good and clean. The campsite was quiet when I stayed. The location was good with trees and grass on the site making it feel secluded. The hosts were also welcoming and the camping pod comfortable.

A nicely thought out apartment which was very clean. There is no parking at the property but you can park on Acomb Road a bit further up - we managed to park where we could still see our car from the master bedroom. Good bus links into the city centre from just past the Fox pub. Convenience store downstairs and good eateries in the area.

The hotel is modern, clean and in a fantastic location (3 min walk to convenience store and the iconic Shambles). It had a small gym, excellent break out areas in the lobby with free use of board games and complimentary cocktail punch. The rooms are on the smaller side but we only stayed one night so was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the room was most importantly very clean! The staff were so helpful and nice. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean and spacious enough for two of us. Shower facilities were excellent. The mattress and pillow were probably the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever stayed in and better than mine at home - superb! The staff were all delightful; young , friendly and very helpful. A nice touch is the free gin cocktail which is offered to all guests (non alcoholic cocktail also available)

Very quiet place, peaceful street, barely see tourists in this area. 5min walks to a very large grass field which you can picnic there. The heater in the room can be adjusted by yourself. The shared bathroom is very clean. Good price. Across the street, there's a nice fish 'n' chips shop.
