Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Absolutely lovely caravan, nice quiet site (apart from snoring cows!) Beautiful area, close to Newton Stewart and not too far from the coast line. Owners were so nice, called to make sure everything was okay and to let us know how everything worked. Caravan was very clean and tidy.
Caravan was attractive, well equipped, well organised, warm and welcoming. Owners were extremely helpful, friendly and informative. Caravan park was ideally situated, yet peaceful, in a beautiful area of Southern Scotland.
We stayed for a week and had plenty of time to explore the local museum (you have to do the roundhouse tour), the Isle of Whithorn, the cliffs with the singing seals, Wigtown, the beach at Garlieston... all on foot and by public bus. No mass tourism, everyone is super friendly and accommodating.
Good clean house and Maggie provided milk, eggs, butter, tea,coffee which was much needed after a long journey. Good location despite some amenities being further away but the drive was worth it. Lots of beaches near by and walking spots. Parking readily available and area was quiet.
