Moon Pod, hotel in Westfield

Moon Pod is set in Westfield, 44 km from Ashford Eurostar International, 47 km from Leeds Castle, and 49 km from Glyndebourne Opera House.

We absolutely loved the pod. It was beautiful. Particularly the sound of the rain on the roof during the night. The bed was super comfy and we the bed linen was soft. In terms of the shower facilities, we thought it was an ingenious design. Blown away by it all.

Goodwin Farm, hotel in Westfield

Set in Northiam and only 37 km from Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park, Goodwin Farm offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

We have just had the best weekend at Goodwin Farm as a surprise birthday present for my partner, and I cannot recommend it enough. The hut was beautiful and well equipped - I was a bit worried about the bed area feeling confined, but it was honestly just lovely and cosy. There was plenty of wood to help us get the hot tub going on the first night which was really appreciated - extra wood/kindling/firefighters were also available to purchase close to the hut which was very convenient. The setting is absolutely stunning, really quiet and secluded - I saw other reviews mentioning a second hut being built, which there is, but I honestly don’t think this would ruin the experience as the area itself is so secluded and there was privacy fencing etc. The owner was very attentive and replied quickly to messages which was great. We met the friendly Ram, too!

The caravan was very clean and the location was really good for the family get to gether we were attending. The site was really clean amd the staff at the sales office were really helpful in helping us locate the caravan. We didn't use any of the facilities as it was just a base for one night but they did look good.

It was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The linens were good quality. The cottage has a cosy atmosphere with a lovely little veranda where we could sit out at the back enjoying a beautiful view. It was very peaceful.

Return visit for my little nephew and I - great way to enjoy camping without having to worry about tents! Pearl is fab - the nephew loved transforming the table area into the second bed and generally running around in the field. I liked the fact we could cook and wash up easily as well as explore the nearby woodland area. Packed lighter this year as the walk to the caravan is up a hill and so much is already provided.

Took my little nephew on his first caravan camping trip and this was just perfect for us! Lots of room for him to run around on the campsite (it doesn't allow cars in the field we were in so it was lovely and safe) and good facilities to cook inside rather than relying on my campfire skills! Hastings has lots of offer to keep kids amused too which was great. The caravan was in a quiet spot which meant a good nights sleep too.
