The room is small and basic but fair for the price. Not too far to walk from the centre of town. The room was very clean with the exception of the blind.

Lovely lodge has everything you need, very clean and tidy. Decent bedding , shower was always lovely and hot. Did have an iron in the cupboard, ironing table, sweeping brush and mop bucket that helped massively . Lovely seating area outside. Dog park right outside the lodge was a god send also very well looked after and clean with bins at the side for bags. 15 min walk to private beach , also absolutely stunning .Definitely be back.

Found at a great price! Looks bigger in person than shown in the pictures. Lovely remote location and is still roughly a 10 minute drive away from the harbour/beach, shops, and civilisation. It was a cosy ground floor cottage with everything you needed. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. Friendly owners, there if you need them. Beautiful view of the nearby horses out of the kitchen window. I would definitely stay again

Wonderful vacation and a wonderful place to stay. Very quiet but not far from town Stranraer if you need something. Very clean and there was everything you need. Cozy accommodation lets you feel at home. Friendly and helpful hosts Viv and her husband. We manage to visit many places, including castle ruins, I recommend this place to everyone, especially those who like the quiet place to stay and outdoor activities and explore Scotland, etc. Historical places, beaches, seaside towns, and villages.

The Lodge was very clean and homely and had everything we needed. Outside the views are fabulous over the fields to the sea. We arrived on a beautiful hot day so had a Barbecue for which there is a concrete stand for a disposal one. It was so peaceful and tranquil an amazing retreat. The owners communication was brilliant as well told us all we needed to know.
