Perfect location as it was within walking distance of the port, and only a five minute drive to Lews castle, the main purpose of our visit. House was extremely spacious, very clean and the owner was very accommodating. The welcome gift was also a very nice touch
Perfect location with stunning views, 7minutes drive to town, 3 minutes drive to the airport, an hour and a half drive away from the most beautiful beaches.
Rhoda was a great host and contacted me at 8.30am with the key code. Double parking space off road which was ideal. House was immaculate and very clean with great WiFi as well. Everything that you need was in the house including a large TV in the lounge. There was a lovely welcome pack and even butter and milk in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again.
The place was small but well decorated, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. An outside garden area was fenced off for privacy and had loungers, table and chairs, and a barbecue for our use and the host couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.
The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable.
Olive is the best host we ever met: she took care of restaurant reservation (we were at Stornoway during a weekend and there are not so many restaurants open on Sunday), she did some shopping for us so that we had all ingredients to prepare a picnic for the next day. And the breakfast is delicious, especially the fruit salad!
