Clover Hut - Snettisham Meadows, hotel in Snettisham

Clover Hut - Snettisham Meadows, a property with a garden, is situated in Snettisham, 14 km from Houghton Hall, 5.9 km from Sandringham House Museum & Grounds, as well as 12 km from Castle Rising...

We arrived after dark which made it a bit of a task to find the sheperds hut but the peaceful isolation made up for it along with the well designed layout of the hut. We've stayed in bigger huts but there's nothing really missing from Clover, we didn't even worry that there was no TV. In fact it was great to have a couple of nights without it. We saw a great sunrise so a stay in the summer would be great, in fact we will be looking for a return visit in the warmer months to make use of the outdoor facilities.

Lovely bathroom and lots of storage. Really liked how the outside eating area felt private and there was a fire pit and barbecue. The hob and oven are a great feature that the booking.com listing doesn’t make obvious. Waking up to open countryside and throwing open the double doors was fantastic.

The location was perfect for exploring the Norfolk coast. I liked the extras such as eggs and milk in fridge, cereal, hot chocolate, coffee sachets and the smellies in the bathroom. It was very clean. I liked the seating area in the garden.

A lovely property located in a village a few miles drive to Snettisham beach (birdwatching), Houghton Hall, Sandringham House and seaside towns. The property offered all modern facilities needed for a longer stay and has a private rear garden for outdoor dining. Nearby there is a co op store for supplies, restaurant and pub within walking distance or a few minutes drive. We only stayed for two nights but wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We stayed in Room 2. A delightfully secluded quiet room with two singles and a double bed. Showed over the bath with lots of hot water. Lovely clean white fluffy towels and an excellent range of tea. Plenty of parking space in a lovely quiet location . Large garden and several pitches for caravans with hook up, shower facilities etc

Good choice of cooked breakfasts. Restaurant very popular and worth booking even for a Monday night, good selection on the main menu and daily specials menu and very satisfied with all meals taken. Room was very clean and fresh and the bed comfortable. Nice old pub with low ceilings and great to find that locals still call in for a drink after work. Attractive beer garden which is a sun trap. Cheerful and obliging staff.
