The owners were incredibly welcoming, they gave a little welcome pack for our dog including a bed and some tasty treats. The swim spa was very welcome. Very homely yet lots of privacy. Milk in the fridge, the honesty boxes for optional cereal was a great touch. Outdoor kitchen was really good for rustic outside cooking, a nice addition from our previous night camping.
The Ramblers Rest came to our rescue after a failed night of camping! We booked then last minute and they accomdated our request for a twin room. When we arrived the owner settled us in and advised us we could bring anything wet from camping into their drying room! It was a comfortable and spacious bedroom and just what we needed to recover. Lots of little discounts with the local shops/pubs. Just a lovely little stay, and I'm sure we will return!

The food was amazing. Two of our party had the steak and two had the fish of the day. Food was outstanding worthy of a Michelin starred restaurant,
Breakfast was excellent again beautifully served and presented. Even the sour dough toast was arranged and served on a board with butter and preserves of your choice.
