Inglewood Shepherd's Huts, hotel in Penrith

15 km from Askham Hall in Penrith, Inglewood Shepherd's Huts offers accommodation with access to a hot tub. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay.

My wife and I spent a weekend here a couple of years ago and as soon as we arrived we knew we'd be back. This place is absolutely perfect to relax, decompress and escape the rat face for a few days, stoke up the hot tub, open a bottle of wine and soak away your troubles for a few hours.

The location was stunning. The Shepherds cabin is finished to a high specification and well equipped. The little touches of home cooked bread and fresh eggs were lovely and the owners were so personable - like meeting an old friend.

The lodge was as expected, very clean with everything you could need. Wifi was ideal for planning our days out. The hot tub was fab. The communication and instructions were great from the host. The lodge backs onto a dual carriageway, however it was quiet and we were not affected by any road noise. Overall great value stay.

I liked the enclosure of the caravan park, the location is nothing to write home about,it's in the middle of a field, more or less. Very clean and very good value for money. All the necessary facilities inside the caravan,a few cards games for children as well, there's a TV , there's , enough to keep everyone entertained.
