A great stopover run by really helpful people that are building a new business. The boat was very comfortable and very well equipped. We found they'd left a couple of delicious brownies that went very nicely with a cup of coffee!

- The yurt is stunning, finished to an impeccably high standard - really impressive. Even the bathroom is exceptional! Also very warm.
- The surrounding area is also beautiful. We had a great time chilling inside and sitting outside with the log burner.
- Super quiet nearby, this may depend on who stays in the other yurt but they are spaced a reasonable distance away from each other.
- Host was friendly.

The secluded nature of the hut helped make it feel like a real treat- even if just staying 1 night! It was exceptionally clean and well stocked, the bed was comfortable and the bbq and hot tub were well maintained and ready to use. We had a lovely warm welcome from Samantha & Declan who showed us to our hut and gave us a tour of how everything worked. We would definitely return for another visit!

a really cosy hut in a beautiful place, surrounded by sheep and geese. the facilities were kept extremely clean and the owners were really helpful. it was also really well placed for a day trip to Lyme Regis.
Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Very clean. Host was very helpful. Lots of info in the room about the area, places to eat etc. Powerful shower, comfy pillows. Great extras in the bathroom and hot drink making facilities. Parking opposite. Local pubs for eating and drinking. No creaky floors as suggested in other reviews.
The apartment was really spacious, very warm and cosy, and very clean. A quiet and peaceful location and there is a lovely view from the balcony. The breakfast was absolutely superb, one of the best ever in a B&B, brought up to the apartment. And catering for gluten free was no problem and much appreciated. I only stayed one night for work but this looks like a great find for a short break. The village and surroundings are beautiful and it reminded me of the Cotswolds!
Dean and Georgie gave us a very warm welcome even though we had a very late arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed.
Absolutely fantastic property. It was spacious, very clean and welcoming. It had all amenities you can need. The bed was really comfy and the place was very nicely decorated.
Very clean room in a lovely old pub, great secluded beer garden. Nice friendly staff. Didn't eat here, but the food looked (and smelled) really good, nice vegan options. Good eco-friendly notices up. Great location for Montacute House and close to the A303, didn't have any problems parking close. Very quiet room, and the pub dog Trix is a total sweetheart. I would definitely stay here again.
Came away alone with my two boys, so I wanted somewhere with space, comfort and security. We got all that, plus the huge bonuses of a beautiful, quiet, rural location and the friendliest of welcomes from Dean and Georgie. There was even a bouncy castle. The Shepherd's Hut was comfortable and well-equipped, right next to beautiful Ham Hill. We also enjoyed a couple of barbecues, with fabulous burgers and a delicious HUGE steak provided by Dean. Would highly recommend.
