This was a lovely weekend away with husband, 2 kids & our pet dog. Despite the directions carefully provided by the owners, we did struggle a little finding the cabin in the dark when we first arrived on Friday night, but found it easily enough the rest of our stay after we'd done it once.
We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome basket which the kids (and grown ups!) really enjoyed. The cabin itself is spotless (despite being dog friendly) and very well equipped - this place is clearly very well looked after and we are grateful to Robert & Pippa for sharing it with us - they were great communicators before/during our stay & even found time to pop down & say hello before we departed.
We walked the nearby Tolkien Trail which was beautiful - there are plenty of other walks and attractions nearby so we are hoping to return soon! Thanks again :)

Pretty setting. Comfortable and modern lodge with all basics covered and lots of finishing extras. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had booked longer. Holiday park offers other facilities too but the lodge is in a quiet area of the park. The best of both worlds.

This lovely shepherds hut was cozy and comfy. The view was just incredible! Emma was extremely helpful. I really can’t wait to go back! I don’t drive and it was very convenient for the train station too.

site is really nice great views...the Caravan itself is amazing everything you could possibly need...it really is a home.

Everything was great! Comfy beds, nicely done out, perfect idilic location with private relaxing deck area to the side overlooking the lake.
Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Breakfast not included as self contained. The facilities at the caravan park were very poor. The pool was its saving grace. However the staff could arrange a later slot for the swimming lessons which seemed to be for local children and not those in the caravan park. It meant part of the pool was separated off for the teaching session and also our 1 hour time slot was shortened.

The bed was very comfortable, a great place to stay, will certainly be returning in the future
The caravan doesn’t exist. We paid in full, arrived at the caravan park after a 20mile walk to be told static stays have done this before & need removing from booking. com
Lovely clean, interesting place, beautiful gardens. Nice rooms with an awesome spa bath. Comfortable bed, bedding. Very clean.
The staff were very helpful. I asked for dinner in my room as I'd been traveling for some time and they brought it up to me, no problem.
The food for dinner was excellent and their breakfast delicious!! Highly recommend their meals. Very nice menu.
