Absolutely loved all of it! The shepherds hut is all you need , small and quirky!. Loved the hot tub especially late at night when it's dark with the lights on around the garden it was so pretty and sitting in the egg pod with the open fire was so calming and relaxing!!
Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
We stayed for 3 nights, visiting family in the area. Our room was very clean and spacious. There is a kitchen for guest use. The area is quiet and tranquil. The host, Steve, was helpful and very friendly. We found The Hawthorne to be good value for money.
Particularly like that there was a camp site as well as hotel. One family group camped, the other used the hotel.
The hotel accommodation had a self catering section which proved to be very useful.
There was some noise from the bar downstairs, but not so much as to be intrusive.
